Architected the database schema and system integration layer for a Crew Management System (CMS), defining data flow across web, middleware API Gateway, and mobile-consuming services.
Engineered a centralized API Gateway that decoupled core microservices (Vessel API, Ship Visitation Reporting) from direct database access, improving service isolation and long-term maintainability.
Collaborated cross-functionally to document API specifications, enabling consistent integration across downstream consumers and reducing developer onboarding time.
Contributed to the Ship Certificate Management System by building user activity logging, an in-app notification system, and a password waiver security feature across backend and frontend.
