• Architected the database schema and system integration layer for a Crew Management System (CMS), defining data flow across web, middleware API Gateway, and mobile-consuming services.
• Engineered a centralized API Gateway that decoupled core microservices (Vessel API, Ship Visitation Reporting) from direct database access, improving service isolation and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborated cross-functionally to document API specifications, enabling consistent integration across downstream consumers and reducing developer onboarding time.
• Contributed to the Ship Certificate Management System by building user activity logging, an in-app notification system, and a password waiver security feature across backend and frontend.
• Designed end-to-end UI/UX in Figma for KOCS v2.0, an internal circular and document management system-covering multi-role flows for crew, admins, manning staff, and principals.
• Designed the UI/UX workflows for KRBS Payroll, an internal payroll system, delivering accuracy-first layouts suited for sensitive financial data entry and processing.
